The fully-fitted kitchen boasts elegant granite work surfaces, as well as an integrated dishwasher, washer/dryer, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, induction hob, Nespresso coffee machine, Dualit toaster, kettle, quality crockery, glasses, and all the cooking equipment you'll need to make the most of your stay. The master bedroom features a sumptuous king size bed dressed in beautiful 700 count cotton bed linen, flat screen television, oak bedside cabinets, a double oak wardrobe, hair dryer, and a patio door that opens onto the deck. The second bedroom is perfect for families or groups, with two comfortable single beds, a French wardrobe, and another patio door leading onto the deck.

The central living, dining, and kitchen space provides the perfect setting for relaxation, with its open-plan design, comfy seating, 42″ Smart TV, sound bar, and a cozy log fire. The cabins are situated in the Liddel Valley, it is surrounded by woodland and is very close to the banks of the River Liddel on the English side of the border, the other side of the river is in Scotland which is literally a few yards away. The area is very peaceful and although the cabins are secluded they are only 50 yards away from the main road. A car is essential to access any local amentities.

Historic Carlisle is situated 15 miles away, it is the main shopping, commercial and industrial centre in the northern half of Cumbria, and of southern Scotland. Here you will find many bars, eating places and shops.

The Lake District which is about a forty minute drive away is England’s largest National Park and includes Scafell Pike – its highest mountain, Wastwater – its deepest lake and thriving communities like Keswick and Bowness-on-Windermere.

Gretna is only 9 miles away- every year over 4,000 weddings take place in Gretna and Gretna Green, which amounts to around one in eight of all weddings that take place in Scotland. It also has a well established outlet shopping centre with shops such as Ralph Lauren, Gap and M and S.

Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage Site is perfect for a family day out. Discover Roman life and epic history in stunning locations. Visit the farthest reaches of the Roman Empire and explore indoors and out at our Roman forts, towns and museums and uncover the story of Roman Britain.

The 7stanes are seven mountain biking trails spanning the south of Scotland. The nearest one to the cabin is in Newcastleton which is approximately 7 miles away.

Kielder Water & Forest Park is home to northern Europe’s largest man made lake and England’s largest forest. There are many outdoor activities available here including sailing, bike trails, walks and tearooms.

  • Strictly no smoking on all the premises or within grounds.
  • No parties or events.
  • No loud music after 10:00pm.
  • Maximum of 2 pets by prior arrangement only.
  • Pets. You may bring one pet with you at a charge of £50. Must be arranged prior to arrival.
  • Logs for fire. One extra large basket of logs will be provided. If you run out you can arrange for it to be refilled at a cost of £30. Please note: logs provided are for indoor wood stove only, please bring your own if you wish to use the outdoor fire pit.

Wildlife: We are fortunate to have an abundance of wildlife on our doorstep including deer, otters, bats and honeybees. Please be mindful to limit light and noise pollution at night and respect the wildlife.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the booking value with the balance payable 42 days before the date of travel.

Damage Deposit: Guests will need to pay a refundable Damage Deposit of £150 prior to their stay.
